| Ryuutarou was sent to Hanayami Academy after attempting suicide. He had been given a diagnosis for Schizoid personality some time before that, and has been fluctuating between emotional numbness and self-loathing depression for a great part of his life. Severely bullied in school, Ryuutarou treats other people with a mix of fear, hate and indifference. He has practically no friends, but doesn't seem bothered by it. Like any schizoid, Ryuutarou prefers spending his time alone in his room and usually steps out only to go find more books to read or go to class. He likes animals and is able to feel some level of affection towards them, but not towards people. Although he is usually polite, his indifference and unawareness of social clues may sometimes make him seem abrupt or rude. |
